The DEN electro-pneumatic diverter, applied to a flat conveyor belt, allows the material to be diverted from its natural path by discharging it into a special collection hopper. It is mainly made up of a load-bearing structure that supports a pneumatic cylinder, which acts on a blade which, resting diagonally on the belt, forces the flow of material to divert its motion, discharging it laterally to the belt itself. The scraping element applied to the blade is designed for the type of material to be deflected and the type of carpet on which it rests.

The diverter is equipped with a base which has the dual function of supporting the belt and contrasting the descent of the blade, so as to allow the best possible cleaning of the scraping element of the blade. The diverter is equipped with limit switches (mechanical or proximity) for signaling the work and rest positions.
