May 20, 1996 born ALURUBBER, rubber coating and high density alumina

It was the 20th of May 1996 when Valter Palladini registered the patent application for the first composite rubber and alumina lining in the world. The application was accepted by giving the patent nr. N.01287434. Now, with an experience as leader in this sector, we reinvent the alumina and rubber composite lining, with new tech- niques and cutting edge, result of years of studies and tests. So, ALURUBBER was born.

ALURUBBER offers the flexibility of the traditional rubber linings, since it was born as flat profile rubber lining, composed by lifter plus plate. For this reason, it can be installed on any type of mill: discontinuous, continuous or continuous modular. In the zones of major wear, ALURUBBER lining is also used for the feed head and in the connection between the cylinder and the feed head. ALURUBBER is characterized by flat profile rubber pieces in which they are present alumina cylinders at high density and high quality, very close to each other. In this way, covering as much as possible the rubber pieces with the alumina, we have a very hard and completely protected surface. Furthermore, from carried out studies, we have noticed that the alumina cylinder’s circular shape and its reduced surface delete the breakings that can be caused using bigger rectangular pieces.

ENDLESS

ENDLESS was born from a brilliant idea, the first self-regenerating rubber lining in the world.

From the experience of leaders in this sector, we are proud to present you our self-regenerating rubber lining. ENDLESS offers the flexibility of the traditional rubber linings, since it was born as flat profile rubber lining, composed by lifter plus plate. For this reason, it can be installed on any type of mill: discontinuous, continuous or continuous modular. Provided that the latter is equipped with alumina grinding bodies. ENDLESS is characterized by flat profile rubber pieces in which there are present special alveolus (empty cells) very close to each other, designed as receptacles for the correct size of grinding bodies existing in the mill. In fact, it will be your own mill that will introduce in each alveolus, the most suitable alumina sphere, by reducing the cost of the lining compared to a composite rubber and alumina lining. There is more, because ENDLESS’ greatest advantage is its ability to be self-re- generating. This is to say to expel at the right moment the worn alumina sphere and to host a new ready one to give new life to the lining.

FAST

FAST: the standard system for the most common solutions

Coating an abrasion resistant rubber, composed of flat plate, fixed to the lifting bars (lifter) shaped asymmetric stiffened by an aluminum profile vulcanizate. The thickness of the lifter mounted inside the mill on its rubber plate is 75 mm. The lifter on one side has the pointed shape, and is therefore suitable for grinding with grinding bodies in silica of medium / small or with alumina grinding. Use of discontinuous mills.

ROTEX

ROTEX: the system for mill more economical and reliable in the world

Coating an abrasion resistant rubber, composed of corrugated plate, fixed to the lifting bars (lifter) shaped symmetrical stiffened by a profile in carbon steel vulcanizate. This type of coating having the corrugated plate and a lifter that does not protrude much, relative to the plate, has the particularity to be suitable for the grinding with alumina grinding. In fact the corrugations of the plate and the reduced height of the lifter help the grinding bodies to work better, thus reducing the grinding time when compared to a coating type TYPHON. Suitable grinding with alumina grinding. Used on continuous and discontinuous mills.

VORTEX

Coating an abrasion resistant rubber, composed of wedge-shaped plate, fixed to the lifting bars (lifter) shaped symmetrical stiffened by a profile in carbon steel vulcanizate. The lifter assembled with the plate appears to be totally protected on one side and discovered the other side. This type of coating provides for the rotation of the mill in one direction to perform roughing and the other to carry out the refining. Suitable grinding with alumina grinding. Use of discontinuous mills.

TYPHON

TYPHON: the solution for continuous and discontinuous mills

This coating is designed for customers who MILLS CONTINUOUS with one of the following characteristics: – Cylinder of the mill does not perforated, on which you do not want to perform the drilling – Cylinder mill with classifying drilling carried out in the wrong way – Cylinder mill with standard drilling, on which you want to apply a coating of classifying type. Or you can install on DISCONTINUOUS MILLS with the following characteristics: – Cylinder of the mill does not perforated, on which you do not want to perform the drilling.

TYPHON 80

Coating an abrasion resistant rubber, composed of flat plate, fixed to the lifting bars (lifter) shaped asymmetric stiffened by an aluminum profile vulcanizate. The thickness of the lifter mounted inside the mill on its rubber plate is 85 mm. The difference in thickness between the lifter and plate normally is 45 mm, and is therefore suitable for grinding with grinding bodies made of silica of average size and medium / large. Use of discontinuous mills and continuous mills.

TYPHON 110

Coating an abrasion resistant rubber, composed of flat plate, fixed to the lifting bars (lifter) shaped asymmetric stiffened by an aluminum profile vulcanizate. The thickness of the lifter mounted inside the mill on its rubber plate is 115 mm. The difference in thickness between the lifter and plate normally is 75 mm, and is therefore suitable for grinding with grinding media of big size silica. Used on continuous mills.
