In-duct colouring systems for porcelained stoneware

In-duct colouring systems for porcelained stoneware

What we propose is a batching system for pigments in suspension for the production of coloured powders in your spray drier. This system is suitable for a production up to 20 t/h.

All the pumps have a variable flow rate and proportional valves on the hydraulic circuit, for the automatic adjustment of the delivery our standard supply includes four pumps PT80, for delivery from 2 to 20 l/min.

Explication diagram of the plant

THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF OUR PLANT ARE THE FOLLOWING:

  • This system can be applied to the existing wet grinding plant without modifying the existing building structures, it does not require the additional installation of coloured powders storage silos, and therefore no systems for the silos loading and for wei- ghing of the coloured powders are needed
  • Remarkable reduction of the water pollution, as the base slip is not coloured inside big tanks, but instead in the piping of the base slip by a mixer
  • Less differences shades compared to the traditional systems
  • Considerable reduction of time in the colour change
  • Fast to install
  • Flexible and easy to manage.

THE PLANT IS MAINLY COMPOSED BY:

  • 1 Set of tanks complete with stirrers for coloured pigments stocking
  • 1Set of batching pumps with variable delivery from 2 to 20 l/minute
  • 4 Flow rate gauges at magnetic induction for pigment control
  • 1 Set of pipings suitable to high pressures and speed
  • 1 Centripetal type line mixer
  • 1 Flow rate gauge at magnetic induction or massive for base product control
  • 1 Cooler of the product in outlet
  • 1 Set of conveyor belts
  • 3 Powder deviation system with pneumatic contro
  • 2 Spray-dried powder receiving mixers
  • 1 Oleodynamic station for mixers checking
  • 1 General electric control board.
