HHPP ELECTRIC CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS WITH AXIAL SUCTION FOR SPRAY DRIER FEEDING
CER 300-600-900-1200
Pumps with joint, built for high pressure, max. 35 bar, flanges PN4, foreseen for abrasive liquids pumping, such as ceramic slip. Possibility of continuous operation. Installed on a basement to be fixed on the floor and prearranged for feeding with inverter (max 3300 rpm), to supply the spray driers with the requested delivery and pressure. The motor is realized by Certech in order to obtain the maximum perform- ance with IE2 high efficiency features. The group is supplied with inverter and fluxing station with clean water for the seal. The operation of station requires com- pressed air. A pressure accumulator is installed on pump delivery and it is prearranged for pres- sures up to 40 bar with pressure control manometer to allow a gradual start-up of the pump and to give the consent on starting of the plant only at the required pressure. This allows a start-up after having primed the centrifuge through a by- pass realized by the Customer that is able to discharge all the air in suction on the product changing. This start-up is programmed by a PLC, supplied by us with the pump that is able also to manage the signals of water level and seal fluxing pressure, of temperature, to engage an antifreeze cycle to avoid the water freezing (if the pump is installed on environments with sub-zero temperatures), of speed with reading of the fre- quency and of the power absorption supplied by the inverter, of the pump body vibration for eventual impeller unbalances. On demand, these signals can be used for pump operation control, also on remote with cable or, on demand, with the sending of analogue signals through GSM.
THE ADVANTAGES IN RESPECT TO THE TRADITIONAL PUMPS ARE OBVI- OUS. HERE ARE SOME OF THE MAIN ONES:
- Plant simplification
- Simplification in the system management
- Drastic reduction of the maintenance costs and time
- Continuous flow of the slip, without pulsing
- Improvement of the granulometry of the finished product
- Improvement of the drying conditions inside the spray drier chamber
- Absence of running fluxing water with saving for the treatment
- No maintenance intervention, only at periodical pre-arranged maintenance
- No moving parts in contact with dust
- Complete control and protection of vital parts
- Possibility of interfacing with starting systems
- Possibility to interfacing with system of automatic moisture control
- Less room noise
- Reduced management costs
- There is not need to check, adjust and lubricate the pump daily, which is on the contrary necessary for other more complex pumps
